UTW Arranges Low-Power Unit Release with Triveni Turbines (India)

8 July 2022

The Ural Turbine Works and Triveni Turbines, a turbine manufacturer from India, will begin joint manufacturing of biofuel low-power units. The two companies signed a cooperation agreement during the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition.

“We see it as a logical expansion to our range, which will allow us to break into the green energy sector; we provide new products <...> while reducing our impact on the environment,” Mikhail Lifshitz, the Chairman of the ROTEC Board of Directors, told Interfax in the lobby at INNOPROM.

According to his data, low-power units are used in the agro-industrial sector, and ROTEC considers this to be a promising area.

There is a demand for the conversion of biological waste into energy for enterprises and the population in the agro-industrial sector. Low-power units are also highly sought after in other kinds of industrial power generation.

The agreement also provides for the turbine line manufactured by UTW to be promoted in India.

As Alexander Rybas, the Russian Trade Commissioner in India, told Interfax, the Indian company in its turn is also interested in bilateral cooperation.

“It’s very difficult to enter the Indian market, it highlights UTW’s great capability,” he said.
